BBC has a report on Vladimir Tretchikoff, "king of kitch", who has passed away. A website about him claims that prints of his The Chinese Girl (right) are the largest selling of all time.

Metro Bits has some great pictures of subway art and architecture. Interesting to see Montreal among those listed — it was the one place I could remember from my meagre travel experiences which had interesting stations.

DIY Pollock

Jackson Pollock by Miltos Manetas lets you paint your own Pollock. This was fun to see, especially for a Pollock-hater like me, but then I realized, what an interesting play area for a child. Point your browser at the URL and let your child click away and make his own Pollock!
