		<description>The argument above is too abstracted from reality.  Being able to listen in on everyone all the time is not just valuable because one can catch a so-called terrorist.

Data mining has it&#039;s own values as well.  The networked value of information, I mean how much interconnection information has, represents a very valuable resource.  It&#039;s easily sold as the network structure of terrorists.  We don&#039;t care about the individual we care about the network.  However, that is the justification that hides other interests in the networked structure of society.
